The reasons are clear, magick is powerful and it must be kept from the hands of people who would abuse it's power.

What is magick?
Magick is the art of change and manipulation by the application or withdrawal of qualities with their correct energies.
These energies are called elements: Fire, Air, Water and Earth. The qualities of these energies differ for example a Fire quality would be confidence, courage, drive and so on and it's energy would be light and heat. The qualities of Water would be creativity, depth, growth etc. And it's energy would be the feeling of coldness and night.
Magick is a vast subject but in this course, we concentrate on these aspects.

Sadly, spiritual people tend to reject wealth believing it to be un–spiritual. But it is the love of money which is not spiritual. The spiritual person may have ANY amount of money they wish, as long as they are altruistic and do not indulge in a love of money.
