The picture to the right refers to the magickal axiom 'As Above, So
Below' because one triangle points to above and the other points to
below. What this means is that whatever is created 'above' as in the
higher or…
astral planes, with our imagination, is also created below.
Everyone has performed magick although they might not realize it…
Making a wish and blowing out candles is an ancient ritual which invokes the element of Fire to manifest the wish.
Years ago on Christmas eve, children would write down their wish on
paper and burn it in the fireplace. This also uses the Fire element to
'boost' the wish. This is also the preferred method involving spiritual
'contracts' with beings.
But there is a more powerful way to accomplish a wish using the element
of Fire. Few know of Water wishing and using the element of Air or
Earth because these have been lost in our modern age. Although they are
no less powerful today than years ago.
Why should one use the element of Water for a wish? Because if the wish
is an emotional one like love or wishing for a child or abundance, then
the element of Water is more suitable than Fire.
The element of Air is suitable for education because it rules the
intellect. Ironically the element of Air is used for joy, happiness and
vitality. Masters use the element of Air to extend their life and
vitality, looking younger in the process– far more powerful than
vitamins, although vitamins are vital also, they wont make you younger.
Here is another hint; at the end of mass, the priest washes his hands,
removing negativity, then implants a wish (Christ consciousness) in the
bread, and gives it to parishioners! The element of Air is invoked
through the ringing of bells, the chalice represents the water element
and the red candle– the Fire principle, and the bread, the Element of
Earth.
We can use the same magick in our everyday lives to empower our lives for a job, for love, relationships a.s.o.
Many believe it is the colour of the candle which produces the effect–
It is NOT! Others rub oil on the outside of the candle all the while
expressing their wish. Although this takes into the qualities of the
wish into account, it does not take the power/energy/quantity necessary
to empower the wish.
The Practical School of Magick teaches how to incorporate both the
substance and the attributes in accordance with WILL necessary to
manifest a spell.
